But the hack, which was demonstrated in a video clip posted to YouTube over the weekend, does not allow the user to receive calls or send and receive SMS.

i want one now. an iPhone that can only be used as a glorified iPod Nano, and to make calls.

i reckon this is an example of the kind consumerist greed which will be the downfall of the western world. Is there anything wrong with waiting for a cheaper and better iPhone which can actually be used for more than just making phone calls?
