I have around 12-15 hard drives ranging from 2tb to 500 gig, i wanted everyones opionion on a decent priced server, or something to house all my drives in? will prolly run unraid if possible?

i already have a 4 disc server, but its shaped like a small suitcase and i was looking for some kind of decent priced 12 hard drive solution?

any suggestions?

I have a Norco RPC-4220. I bought it for about $200 Cdn. It holds 20 drives in hot-swap bays.
RAID/non-RAID is up to you. The drives are connected via SAS, and a SuperMicro MV8 is probably your cheapest option for connecting multiple drives.

I installed an AMD board with on-board video. Along with 3 of the MV-8 PCI-E SuperMicro SAS controllers.

I am running Ubuntu 10.10 on it right now.
