I saw this at a store this weekend, and thought it would be a great travel hub for the MBA:

Some nice things about it:

1. Small.
2. Has 4 ports.
3. Has a thumb drive dock type port in the middle (the thumb drive would stand up when inserted).
4. One port is both a regular usb port and also a mini-usb port, so no additional cable needed for mini-usb devises (external HD, camera etc).

Had one I used with my RevA MBA. Was great for anything but an external drive. Not enough power in the MBA USB port to power both the hub and an external drive so if you plugged an external drive (optical or HD) into the HUB it would not work (device seemed like it was powered but would not function properly).

I used one of these (http://www.e-sense.com.tw/en/products/productdetail.asp?id=56) with my Seagate Freeagent Go 500GB USB-powered external HDD and it seems to work fine, USB-ethernet adapter works great too. I got one of these for about $4.

I am using the following: BELKIN Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Ultra-Mini-Hub. It even works with my Plextor PX-610U DVD/CD Drive which I bought in lieu of the Apple Super Drive. Both are good so far.
