Can someone recommend me a good controller to use in bootcamp that is known to 100% work w/ bootcamp and all recent games? Looking to spend $20-$30, but I'll spend more if it insures quality.

I have a fairly old logitech dual action controller and apparently it is no longer compatible with any new games (it was made back in 2003 or 2004).

Well first off anything will "work with Boot Camp". If it works with Windows X (X being whatever version you're running; Vista, Windows 7, etc.), it'll "work with Boot Camp".

Is your Logitech controller USB (if it was made in 2004 I'm assuming it is)? Try plugging in it, then run Windows Update. It'll most likely find a driver for it (assuming you're running Vista/Windows 7).

I would recommend a Xbox360 controller, one with wire or wireless(costs more), works with all games. I bought mine for 23 €.

xbox 360 wireless controller is a good choice

some older software sometimes doesnt like it but everything new is ok and one neat thing is if you are playing an xbox360 port lots of those these days all the ingame controller pictures and assignments etc etc are correct

as far as quality of the hardware its probably the best controller ive used

This is not quite true. I used bootcamp on my imac to run windows XP, and found that my audio inteface [M-audio profire 6/10] will not work in windows, though apparently it will in Vista

This led me to ask a similar question to this thread. Will a steering wheel controller work in XP through bootcamp?

Well, this is XP we're talking about, so it's not too surprising.

+1. the 360 controller works well with most games, especially dead space.
