Good will gestures

If y'all got a nMP and only had it for 3 days cause of hardware failure would you of course ask for replacement ASAP but would you also try to get something else as a good will gesture?
I know a lot of times apple will upgrade your shipping or send you something like keyboard/ mouse / speakers ....ect
Just curious what would most people do
Or just say thanks

Wow, didn't know they will send you other stuffs beside the apple product replacement and probably expedited shipping
