I am fairly new to the mac. I just joined about 3 months ago with MBP early 2010 model. However, it was really gift for my mom. For daily use, my mom loves her MBP with back-lit keyboard. It is freaking awesome. You don't need mouse anymore at all. She loves the battery life and she likes very much with no complains.
I decided to swap all our PC laptops for MBA or apple laptops. We are family of 3 and I already ordered 13.3 inch MBA for my father. Also, I am going to begin dumping all my PCS!

I hope new MBA doesn't give me any display issues, but I would love to be escaped from my horrible trackpad on pcs. It doesn't even come close to what MBP and MBA offers. Anybody have any recommendations for mac newbie like me? What software to try on? Or etc.

I am getting iWork 09, but I think that's about it. I might replace my laptop for HP ENVY 14 beats edition. (another awesome laptop) However, those HP laptops don't even come close to apple in experience. God damn horrible trackpads...

i require a mouse on my windows laptops simply cuz the trackpads are not intuitive.

with apple, it's 50/50. two finger scroll. three finger drag. and just overall size and feel of the pad itself. well done.
