So I haven't gotten to look at it yet, but the latest version of goodreader says in the description that it supports usb file transfer through itunes.

can someone give me a quick breakdown of how exactly you'd do that in itunes? I've never seen any sort of tab for transferring particular files.

With GoodReader installed, you will have a File Sharing section just below the Apps (on the Apps tab). In that section, you should see GoodReader. Select it, then drag your documents in or out of the sharing list.
