Anyone using Goodreader for iPad?

If you receive an email with attachments, rather than displaying the old .doc or .pdf icons in the attachments, all attachments in emails that are openable by goodreader are give the same "goodreader" icon.

This is annoying.

Anyone know how this can be changed so Goodreader is not the default icon on mail attachments?

Are you concerned that somebody you send mail to will see the goodreader icon? Don't worry. It only shows that way on your iPad. You could probably change goodreader email attachment handling in settings-->goodreader or within the goodreader app itself. Why does this bother you? I could care less what an icon looks like on my screen as long as I can get my work done. I also have air sharing installed and I see that icon instead of goodreader. If I press and hold, I get open with... and I can pick goodreader or airsharing from the list.

Hope this helps...

No. What i upsets me is that when i received a .doc file, I'd get a .doc icon. If excel, I'd get an excel icon. If numbers or a jpg or pages, the same. A PDF? I'd get a PDF icon.

Now, every attachment is the same goodreader icon. There must be a way to disable this, no?

Is it really important?

You could generally judge by the name of the attachment what is inside.

You shouldn't open random attachments anyway...
