Since as long as I can remember, the Google Assistant App for IOS has been buggy in that the microphone won’t work when initially opened - I’ve had to either force close/reopen the App or tap the microphone twice to get it enabled. Very annoying!
This happens on either iPhone or iPad in various triggered ways:
1) Opening via the Google Assistant App.
2) Opening via the Google Assistant widget (old style widget on Today View, left of Home Screen).
After creating the Google Shortcut…
3) Assigning Back-Tap to trigger the Shortcut.
4) Saying ‘Hey Siri, Hey Google’ to trigger the Shortcut.
Has anyone worked out how to get this thing to work properly??
Or has anyone never had this issue at all?
