It's going to be a while before Apple will meet its undoing, but yes, Google Assistant absolutely crushes Siri in pretty much every way imaginable.

Looking forward to the next five years in tech, it's also interesting to see Google Assistant being so widely adopted, while a half-baked Siri is locked inside the Apple ecosystem. If more and more people are using digital assistants like we are led to believe, this could signal a turning point for the industry.

I've never really gotten in the habit of using it. I actually have i turned off on my Note 8 and S8+. Nothing happens when I hold the home button.

Couldn't agree more with this statement! I like where hardware is going with the smaller bezels and I like what Google is doing with their software. Should be an excellent five years in tech.

I think even Bixby topples Siri.

Google Assistant is the king & doesn't look like being dethroned any time soon.

Also, there's something to be said about an ecosystem that Google are saying will be more about freedom & inclusiveness, rather than Apple's which is a 'their way or the highway' type deal.

Growing number of consumers prefer the former & look at the latter as akin to being handcuffed.

Although plenty love Apple's seemless & polished ecosystem (me included), but as tech evolves, significant features rise in preference - Maps & Voice Assistant being the two big ones for me, of which Googles world does much better than Apple.
