I have this simple blog, created with Blogger in my Google account.

It's just a simple way, with a simple adress, to share mainly my photos, videos, and recordings with friends and family, without using Facbook and the like. (I don't really need to blog about what I'm having for dinner, what TV series I'm watching or such.) So, it works for that. There are links on the right side that links to my folders on Google Drive, where anyone can right-click on any file or folder to download.

Sound and video files, I think anyone with a mobile or a computer will be able to just double click the file and it will open on their device. But would it be possible to have a way to let people see slideshows? Some kind of web player - on my blog page - that points to an image folder on my Google Drive, and plays it on the web page?

Just looking for ideas.
I'm a little curious if the 'Translate' function is actually working.

Well…
I tried it, but Blogger doesn't have the slideshow module that's referred to in the article. Only an 'images' module. And even there, it won't let me link to a image file on google drive.
A bit of research tells me this is possible but…
You can buy these types of 'extensions' to Blogger, and there's a lot of copy/pasting of code stuff. Not so easy afterall.

I'm overthinking things, I think ;)

If I click on a link on my blog that takes me to a folder in Google drive, and a folder of images, and I double-click to open one image - at least on firefox, it loads up the image in fullscreen and lets me navigate thru the images in that folder. Just what I want. I'm guessing most browsers will do that, even on iphone/android. And I guess most people today will instinctively know this and just click thru the images. I'm just overcomplicating.

Thanks anayway.
