does anybody experience the same that the Chrome browser gets stuck for a few seconds during browsing? I'm using a Macbook Air with M1. I already tried closing all the other apps etc but it did not make any difference so I wonder if there is an issue with Chrome and Monterey.

Google Chrome gets randomly stuck while browsing?

Same thing happens to me. I use a Late 2015 iMac with an Intel i5. I'm running Monterey because 2015 is the oldest iMac that can run Monterey. I switched to Chrome to sync passwords with Google account but it freezes a lot.
There might be a problem with the Google Chrome version for Silicon macs, but I don't have one, so I can't experiment with older OSes and different browsers.
