Forgive me if I just right out missed it, but I didn't see any story on the widespread issue of Google Chrome knocking out half of Hollywood's Mac Pros. Apparently blame was dealt to Avid (Media Composer) completely shutting off Mac Pros and not allowing for them to turn on. It was later found to be Google Chrome as the culprit with one of its last updates knocking out Macs that had SIP disabled, which a lot of video editors do in order to use certain graphics cards, I'm told. I was aware of this because Avid reached out to its users (I use Pro Tools, not Media Composer so I thought I was in the clear). Im surprised there was no mention on Macrumors
