Im wondering what apps (if any) on the app store can read/write google docs? I'm in need of emailing one out today and don't have my laptop to export it. I want to get the most full featured app.

I have a feling it's GoodReader but I'm still not certain if it can connect directly with google docs for editing & exporting.

Go with GoodReader, it can open/edit Google Docs by simply signing you in there. If you want a little more word & excell, go for Office2 HD...

Cheers, Lutz

I think Awesome Note was the best app for syncing via google docs for iPhone. Unfortunately, they have not released an iPad native version yet. I've also been looking for a feature rich notes iPad app for Google docs where you can edit/read as well as import/export, but I don't think theres an iPad native app that can do it all yet.

2nd on the Office 2 HD. I do all of my word/excel from the google and mobile me cloud. This app connects you straight to your accounts, and you just work out of your cloud folders. Not a really fancy application, but works. If Pages ever did this, it would be awesome.

App that can read and write to Google Docs for notes

iSMEStorage can read and write to Google Docs for Notes. You can create the note directly on the iPhone and you can sync bank to Google OTA. Also any .txt notes you put into the "My Memos" folder on Google are sync'd back up to the phone.

There is also a directory called MySyncs where you can put any files that you want to be able to sync up and be local on the phone.

You need to register an account at SMEStorage.com to work withe App', but there is a lot of functionality in the App itself.

The developers say the next release (which is imminent) will be a universal iPhone/iPad app. I'm using the iPhone version on the iPad right now but I'm looking forward to the iPad version.
