I am cleaning out some of my cloud storage and want to download folders from Google Drive to my iPad Pro, 12.9 2nd gen. I can do individual files but I don’t want to be doing this for the next two years. Is this possible?

Get the Documents by Readdle app. It's free and allows you to download or move entire folders from cloud storage to the iPad and from the iPad to cloud storage. It supports most commonly used cloud storage systems as well as FTP sites.

Eric5273 thank you. Funny enough i had Readdle Documents installed about 2 months ago and deleted it. Just reinstalled and it works just like you said. Ive been looking at SanDisk wireless flash drives. I like cloud storage but feel i have too much out there (Google Drive, iCloud Drive, Google Photos, Dropbox) My iPad Pro has 512gb storage and the flash drive has 128gb plus i can share with my iPhone 7 without needing internet connection. Are you familiar with these drives?

You can select all files in a directory with the three dots or whatever you call that at the top right of the screen and then select make available offline.
