Google hangouts app update.

I don't know about you guys but for me the Google hangouts app is a big part of my iPhone. And today Google ****ed the ****ing **** out of it. So many problems with the new app update.

First thing I noticed is it looks horrible. I swear they developed this thing blind and high while dealing with a huge hangover. There is this huge banner at the top that is this ugly ass green. I would love to change the color of that. And its huge. Come on now. And another thing why is it that in a message thread the title isn't centered?

Second I noticed status is diffrent. I make a status. But there is no way for any one but me to see it Wtf?!

Third thing I notice is you can actually send pictures now... Before you could send your last 5 or something like that -_-. They fixed that but still no video

4th thing I notice is the send button looks like ****. Not much more to say for that one.

Then I hop on over to my iPad. Not usable on an iPad. Buggy does not begin to describe the iPad app. I can not use it. At all. That thing on the side of the screen that makes you make calls on accident all the time prevents you from using the keyboard on that side of the screen. And I have had 2 other keyboard bugs in the few minutes I tried to use it.

It's also missing quick reply functionality but that's nothing compared to all the other problems.

I don't think I should be using an app from a company as big as Google as saying "Did they develop this app blind folded and really really high?"

Does anyone else have similar thoughts on this update?

I agree. This update was a huge downgrade. I don't like that huge green bar at the top either. Makes no sense as to why it's there!

Not a fan of Google and avoid them when ever I can. When I found out they have a right to read your email and use what ever information they glean from it . . . . .well that was my last day. Shutter to think what an app of theirs would do.

I was waiting for GV text and voicemail to be added to the ios app so I can get rid of my GV app and use hangouts instead.... but I'm having an issue where incoming calls don't have any sound or vibration. The notification pops on my phone but nothing else. I enabled sounds and vibration in the app and in the notification settings on the phone..... Oh and not getting any notifications for voicemails at all. I hope they release an update soon for these bugs.
