Google imges don't show on my iMac

I recently bought an iMac and am having some set up problems:-
1) If I type into Google the name of a photographer and click images, instead of getting pages of images displayed on screen I get about 3 lines of images and then pages of grey rectagles! Anyone know what I need to do to rectify?

2) How do I set it so that all folders organise by kind as default?
