I've been on Android for many, many years and for 2-3 years, have used "swipe" keyboarding input a lot. Since Apple's default keyboard has no support, I installed Google's keyboard for iOS. After installing it, you have to manually "Add New Keyboard..." and so on. Well, when I look in the "Keyboards" menu, there are (4) listed: English, Emoji, GBoard--Google, and Google. So, I remove the (2) Google ones and then uninstalled the GBoard app and rebooted for good measure.

Now when I go to the same menu, I still get "Google" already listed under the 3rd party keyboard section. Where is that coming from ? Does Apple include it in iOS (running 10.3.3 currently) ? I really doubt they do !

Do you use any Google apps? I'm wondering if it comes with one of those that I use.
