Google Maps Current Location

When searching for directions, sometimes the current location doesn't pop up in the 'start from' box. Is there any way, aside from canceling directions, locating me, and then going back in to insert your current location? I've tried just typing "current location" but that doesn't do anything.

Clear out the start menu and touch the bookmark button and select Current Location. Is that what your asking?

usually i just type "c" and the first result is "current location" in blue
