It was working last night. But this morning the Driving directions of my Google Maps app on iOS 10 is manual routing - I have to press next to see the next step, and it doesn't update on its own when I drive.

I checked the app store and noticed that my Google Maps app was updated today (10/6).

I can't believe I haven't seen more news of this.
[doublepost=1475787909][/doublepost]Here's how it looks like:

The Navigation button turned into ">>" instead of "A":

Navigation is manual, I have to press ">" to go to next step. Does not follow me when I drive. No voice guidance at all:

Here's the version - just updated today. 4.23.0 must be the culprit:

Just installed the latest update as well and it seems to be working fine (as it has before) when it comes to navigation.

In your case it seems like you are doing a route preview though since you aren't going somewhere from your current location (which would use navigation) and instead have a location you entered as a starting point (which basically gives you directions/preview).

I know... but that's all I can do with it right now. It only goes to that Preview mode when I choose to navigate. I can't make it go into Navigation. Unless I choose the Walk option instead of Drive, then navigation works perfectly. But I'm not gonna walk for 8 hrs no thanks.

Can't you change the "from" location to use your location instead of using SFO?

I used it Tuesday and it quit giving verbal directions. iOS beta 1.

My problem was a bit different; it still gives verbal directions, but each prompt starts at a really low volume and gets louder, as if someone turned down the volume and is raising it during the prompt.

Makes the verbal directions fairly useless as you can't hear the first 2-3 seconds of it in a noisy car.

Indeed.

I'd prefer to use Maps because of the integration. Having the map on the lock screen is great. However, the app is sometimes 2 years behind road construction around here and so gives bad/wrong directions. Google Maps does a better job of keeping up.

Exact same problem here...it's frustrating.
