Google Maps has stopped warning me about Speed Cameras

Hi

A while back when Google Maps introduced Speed Cameras everything worked as I expected via CarPlay and I would get the Speed Camera alerts. I really found it useful.

However since about 2 updates ago (I am now on 5.22) I no longer get the Speed Camera warnings. I can see the speed camera icon on the map but get no verbal warning. I still get the navigation instructions such as Turn Left, Go Straight On etc - just no Speed Camera warnings.

I have tried deleting the Google Maps app and reinstalling but there is no chance in behaviour.

Does anyone know if the Speed Camera warning feature has been removed from Google Maps or if it is an issue isolated to me.

Its been taken out either intentionally or through a bug, same for pretty much everyone i think. The general stuff i've seen suggests it will be put back in at some point.

Use Waze until it's back in?
Pretty sure they use the same data for them
