iPhone Google Maps: How do I download offline maps?

But I can't seem to download offline maps for Bali in Indonesia. Is this feature restricted to certain countries?

If doing it the way that is demonstrated in this thread doesn't work for you then your area isn't supported, yet.

I've read that the rollout of the new version of offline maps is regional and hopefully you'll get the new version soon.

In the meantime, does searching for a place, then typing "ok maps" in the search field (and touching "Search") bring up a download dialog? That method still works for me along with the new method.

Oh. Unfortunately, ok maps does not work too, even if I zoom in really close. Is that the case for you too with Bali?

It doesn't matter where in the world...I can download an offline map.

My Google Maps app version is 4.13.0
