Google Maps apparently now lets users export their starred/saved locations as a JSON file so you can import them into other competing apps. My question is is there any way to import this JSON file into Apple Maps so all my saved Google Maps locations appear in Apple Maps?

Wow, thank you for sharing this. I have an extensive collection of saved places and it has bothered me I don't have a backup of it.

you can but you'll have to do it location by location. There's an app called Opener, its 1.99 allows you to take a location from maps and or a web page and move it to apple. Have downloaded my data from google but have not found an easier way to yet.
