Anyone having problems with the usability of the app? I tried deleting it and re-installing but nothing changed. It basically doesn't work anymore! WTF.

Mine works,on both iPad and iPhone,the only problem for me,is that google temporarily took away the sole Watch app...
Without explaining what's going wrong it's a pretty useless post, sorry...
That's like saying something is wrong with my car... ooohh damm, the engine is not there.. ooopss
Ok. Just too much to write. The gist is that when beginning any navigation, it re very to "rerouting" and just stays at that loop. Just started to happen. I deleted app; reinstalled. Same. Google acknowledged an issue with their latest may update for iOS. Waiting to hear back from them.
