iPhone Google Maps - Places You Go Feature And Battery?

Hi,

I am going to Paris tomorrow and i was thinking about using this feature to be able to "re-trace" my steps when i get home and for future references. Anyone know how bad it is on battery life? gps must obviously be running at all times?

any experience? thank you!

If you mean the frequent locations thing then i've always had it turned on and never had an issue. Dont think GPS is permanently running.
