When I am trying to use the direction feature on Google Maps it shows that I can go to my contact list for the address I need. When I press on the name of the person it shows their address, but when I touch the address it just takes me back to the Google Map page and it doesn't insert the proper address into the cell. I am wondering if I aways have to type the address in by hand, or if I am doing something wrong that makes it so I can't automtically have the address added.

I just tested on mine and it works fine. Have you tested that the address can be found in Google maps? i.e. type it in manually....double check the way you have the address entered for the contact i.e. street number on it's own, street name on next field, etc.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that the address had to entered a certain way in the contacts to use it in Google Maps. Once I re-entered the address it worked! Thanks again...I was getting frustrated.

In all my contacts with addresses I located them on maps. Tapped the blue arrow. Tapped add to contacts. Plus the ones I had from my Treo were synced correctly.

I have noticed a lot of the time, "North", "South" etc seem to screw up GMaps. Try deleting the direction from the address.
