iPhone Google Maps with Carplay, anyway to set Gmaps as default navigation map for Siri?

I can't find any setting to set Google Maps as default app for my navigation when I use Siri.
Anyone?

Nope. I don't think there's any way to change default apps on iOS.

I have not tried it, but you could try saying "Hey Siri, navigate to ----- with Google Maps" and see what happens.

tried that... doesn't work kindda useless if I have to type the destination while im driving

I think there is a Google assistant built into Google Maps app. Could you try tapping the app to open it then get going with voice commands?
