So I'm coming from a s7 edge and trying to use google music on my 7 plus. I synced my music, but my music does not show in the library in Google music. The music is on the phone cause I can see it in settings and also see it in the Apple Music app. Any ideas?

Sounds like your music was synced to the Apple Music app. I don't think the Google Play Music has access to the music stored in the Apple Music app.

The best way to use Google Play Music is to upload all your music to your online Google Music library from a Mac or PC. You can use Chrome or Google Play Music Manager to do this

Then sign into your Google account in the Google Play Music app on your iOS or Android device. You will then have access to all your music on both iOS and Android.

Honestly if you're not paying for Google music all access I would rather import your music to iTunes and sync your phone with your computer IMHO.

As said Google Music does not have access to the iTunes music synced to your device.
