Drop the price by $50 or so, and I'd be all over it. Would make a great gift for a friend of mine. I can definitely see the market for these expanding over time, though they've got some tough competition with tablets.

Perhaps this could be a surface competitor since Microsoft is so focused on needing a keyboard with a tablet.

I wonder if they'll make these with AT&T or VZW built in? Seems a pretty important component for a cloud computing computer.

This is what Chromebooks should have been from the beginning. Who wants to pay the same price as an entry level notebook for something that only runs a web browser?

I envision these as the epitome of Netbooks.

They serve their purpose quite nicely.

Yeah but Microsoft never advertises it without the touch or type cover.

Looks really good, actually. Really what netbooks should have been... Would purchase one immediately if it had 10 hours of battery life for all day battery life.
