http://www.theverge.com/2013/1/29/3928198/google-selling-nexus-4-germany-more-locations-soon

Though the Nexus 4 has been missing from the Google Play Store for weeks now, Google has confirmed to us today that it is now offering it for sale in Germany, with plans to sell it in other countries in the near future. The Nexus 4 originally went on sale back in November and quickly sold out, with supply issues making availability of it very scarce since then. LG, the manufacturer of the device, was initially blamed for the shortage, and it confirmed recently that it was ramping up production to meet the overwhelming demand. Google says that it plans to offer it for sale in markets other than Germany very soon; we'll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more.

The US store has each model at "temporarily out of stock".....

My birthday isn't for another month, but I might try to talk my wife into letting me get one early since we have no idea when they'll be back

Ya - I figured there was a reason they changed the wording/color from red to white and added "temporarily" - exciting....if only I had the money now....

They're hardly selling them in the existing countries. Can you even call it selling if it's always out of stock? By that logic I'm selling Lamborghinis. I mean I don't actually have any, but I can make a page that says "Lamborghini Aventador - £300,000 - Temporarily out of stock" forever
