Google Play question?

If I buy a movie on the Google Play store, is it only available on Android devices or can I put the movie on my MacBook/iPhone etc?

I haven't had experience with it first hand so don't quote me but I *believe* it will also be available through play.google.com and through youtube @ https://www.youtube.com/movies

I have no idea if you can watch it on an Iphone. It also might make a difference if it is rented vs bought.

Yeah, I'm looking for a definite answer before I rent/buy some movies.
