After publishing my .mac website I was able to do a google search for my name and my .mac website came up first everytime, until today. Now when I do a google search for my name, my .mac website does not even show up in the search. does anyone know why this would happen? i also did the searches on Yahoo, MSN etc.. and all the same no result for my.mac website.

Thank you

Search results can be a tricky game. Web pages that have been more recently updated with new content generally get higher rankings in search results. It's possible your page has simply gotten 'stale' and so is getting lower and lower in the results. If you make regular updates to your site with changes (and not just trivial changes) you may see it return.

There's other possible reasons too like someone with your name who is more "popular." Like I said, search results can be a tricky game. Look up search engine optimization (SEO) to find out ways to improve your search rankings.

thank you. it just seemed weird that one day it showed up and the next it was gone. not even showing up at all.
