Google: Searches not going into history

Hi,

Google seems to have rolled out a change today; now when I search instead of typing my query then going to a results page, it just gives results directly without navigating to a new page. As a consequence, the results page doesn't get added to Safari's history menu. Does anyone know how to restore the old behaviour?

Search Preferences (top right) > Do not use Google Instant
