I've noticed that on all the major forums, and a lot of smaller ones that Google.com often appears in the logged in users list. This doesn't happen on my forum (www.boshty.co.nr phpBB2 based). What should I do?

do you mean for indexing purposes?

i remember when creating my student union's website with a friend, we had fun getting the bots out of the "who's online" lists. if this is the sort of thing you mean, there should be an option to hide them from view.

no I mean to allow google to actually index that page? Does it do it on pages with MySQL data in them too?

it should be able to index anything, even dynamic pages such as forums. if it's a new forum (like yours is) get it submitted to google, wait a few days, and you should see something turning up.

in the past (as in 4-5 years ago) i've had a few issues with redirected free domains but it may not be an issue these days.
