I was trying to view a video on Google Video and this is message I got "This video is not playable in your country." Link

Damn it. Now I need to pay an Australian ISP just so I can see that stuff.

And, yeah, nice to see it's censored here. Gotta love America!

I got error a couple of times when I was trying to watch all the SuperBowl commercials at once (from Katie's post). I just clicked on the commercial link again and it played no problem. Just a twitchy bug. Giv'r another go

BTW the above link worked for me

ya I didn't mean Google was sensoring because I know they are against it they didn't have a China site for a while because China sensors their internet. I was Shocked to see that we were being sensored to...if that is infact what this is. I don't even think it is a bad video...obviously I havn't seen it but it just seems from the thumbnails to be an explosion lol.

Tried loading it on my phone (AT&T->Cingular)... same result. Thought for a sec it might be Safari or something else in the header, but... no.

Works here in the UK. It's strange, because it's just two explosions, and you couldn't tell where they were from the video or anything.

I haven't loaded a video to google video yet but can you as the person submitting have prefrences where you want it allowed to be viewed?

Boolya!

Use this text, save as "video.html" or whatever, and watch:

Code:
<html>
<body>
<embed style="width:400px; height:326px;" id="VideoPlayback" align="middle" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
  src="http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?videoUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fvp.video.google.com%2Fvideodownload%3Fversion%3D0%26secureurl%3DjQAAAMDSmb-1OPP1CLa9f1-bcs2gTReMsrZC5QdmyK80GtWR9VRhk7Mp2NiKqAoXX9fhyQyBAJtcVouzzJKVDSMplCvYCjWiYwFxCJhZRO4ygtj0RWPp4kHx5KfGFaDulDwSvsgrCW6z0aohBiBUzlVzXWdTzJvkvyXk2MSYy22UPTRWZcnj50Dt-GNenXsHeecfBg%26sigh%3D-7VuAAUoVcPRWSn4Gs12hq7sqrM%26begin%3D0%26len%3D70859%26docid%3D4258374615945369026&thumbnailUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo.google.com%2FThumbnailServer%3Fcontentid%3Ddbf67acb0c8d91de%26second%3D5%26itag%3Dw320%26urlcreated%3D1140537532%26sigh%3D1kYkBht-DESH5iMEnCqIN1g_1kY&playerId=4258374615945369026&playerMode=embedded"
  allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" quality="best" bgcolor="#ffffff" scale="noScale" wmode="window" salign="TL" >
</embed>
</body>
</html>

I just used the "Put on Site" code they have linked on the page... so all you need to do is click on the "Put on Site" link, and paste the displayed code between "<html><body>" and "</body></html>" then save it as anything.html and double click to view.

Click to watch:

Good to know! So the submitter is blocking us from seeing the video.

How about submitting a conceptual video, that can not be viewed by any country- just there for people to enjoy the concept of watching a video...:D

Obviously, that blocking isn't bulletproof.
