Hi all, I hope this is the right forum. I'm switching from Android to iPhone 7 soon. I rely heavily on Google services to get my job done (docs, drive, contacts, etc). Can I expect the same integration level in iOS? I have a paid account a free for your domain account and a personal account.

Thanks!

You can use the services you mention as iOS has support for them and/or Google has iOS apps for them. As far as the level integration, it depends on what you are expecting as some things are integrated to some degree and some others are not.

What about Google contacts? It does sync changes from device to Google? I don't want to move my data to icloud.

Google contacts and calendar will sync to the iPhone without a problem: just add the google accounts in settings and enable the options for contacts and calebdars. Your paid account will support push in the native mail account if you add it as an exchange account.

For the others you need to add them as a google account and that doesn't support push email: if push email is important to you, you can install the gmail app (and just disable the email option for the google accounts in settings so you don't get them delivered to gmail and the native mail app.)

Also, if you have more than one calendar on a single account, check on this page https://calendar.google.com/calendar/syncselect?pli=1 to make sure they're setup to sync

You can also install the google calendar app if you prefer it to the native one (if you do this, disable the calendar option on the google accounts in settings to stop then appearing in both)

I ran my google account on my iPhone for 18 months without any issues at all (I now use office 365 though)

I'm a big fan of Google Calendar and Gmail myself. I'm a user of both on my iDevices (iPhone and iPad) but I do use third party apps to use them. For e-mail I use Email by Easylido and for my calendar I use Week Calendar. The reasons behind this is that these offer more features although these Google products can be accessed without any problem from Apple's Calendar app or Email app.

In order to use Google Now there isn't ofcourse the same functionality as you would have on an Android device. For voice features this is pretty limited on iOS. Apple only allows in much cases Siri only and in a lot of cases there are limitations. Like with 3rd party keyboards that you cannot use Siri. You have to switch to the build in Apple one to use that.
