Since Google has ended their social media service and the icon on the site that shares articles is gone on the front page, I noticed that the icon is still around on the bottom of the comments page(s) and was wondering if this was a glitch?

I was on a webinar today and the host had a slide that mentioned using G+. Fortunately they noted the slide was out of date, but still...
