Google 'street view' vigillantes. Seriously strange.

wow. so lets make a big deal out of every day occurrences. woohoo. /sarcasm.

people need to find better things to do on the internet.
 
I wonder if anyone will actually use Google StreetView for what it was originally intended.
 
Wow, I'm kind of glad there's no street level view of my town! :p You can see my apartment and the pool I swim at, but if you want to see me shirtless, you have to actually come over to the pool. ;)

What about him? He's just a dark silhouette. Like anyone could identify him from that photo. And what's "extremely risqué" about it? It says "Adult Book Store"? Oooh...

I believe it was originally intended for people to visualize the roads and their destinations from the directions they received from Google Maps; however, Google also probably anticipated that it would be used for "spying."

Once this, "omg!!1! i JuSt saw some1 pickin there nose! lmao!" is no longer amusing, its original reason will probably be used more extensively (providing Google expands the service beyond the current areas).

i don't quite follow. whats so risque about an adult store? lets all point and laugh, right? i mean seriously, people go in there everyday i'm sure, so yeah i'd say its an everyday occurrence.

i don't understand this country's immature prudish values sometimes. but whatever. (note: thats not directed at anyone, just a generalization).

Ok, I'm confused. I'm with Dejo. Risqué? A picture of a man in front of a store that says "Adult Book Store". He's not even "doing" anything ... his hands are behind his back.

Or is it the search query you're worried about? You could fix that by removing the query from the URl - like this http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=...daC7dHzUSiqUQ&cd=2&cid=37802159,-122270047,10

Meh. My wife and I were walking past a sex shop in my home town a couple of years ago just as my brother walked out. That would have made a good picture.

Big deal.
