I just discovered an easy way to call a number so your Google Voice number will show on the Caller ID while still using the Phone/Contacts app. This is for if you don't want to use the web app and this doesn't work for texting, only calls. Also it can be really tedious if you have a lot of contacts.

For every contact create a new number as:
(Google number)P(pin number)P2P(contact's number)#

The P is a pause and it will take a short pause every where one is. To insert one hit +*# then hit pause.

Just sharing this for people who want to use the Phone/Contacts app and still call out with their google number.
