somewhere
anyone use this on iOS .. I'm thinking about getting a google voice number and wondering how it works on iOS. Thanks

Works great, I use it for my side business, only thing is you don't know if the call coming in is to your personal phone or the Google Voice. So I let the business ones go to voicemail and then call them back, luckily it's not urgent for them to pick up.

Hmmm that really sucks. How about text messages ?

Text messages will come in through the Google Voice app and you can have them forwarded via SMS to your actual phone number and/or email as well. Google Hangouts can also be used to actually receive and place calls (and I believe texts) using your Google Voice number.

Im thinking of getting a google voice number for when I sell things on craigslist...dont really want to give out my real number even though i don't screw people.

It should work for that. Just make sure that if you are calling someone back you do it through Google Voice (or Google Hangouts that would be linked to your Google Voice).
