I saw today that the Google CEO serving on Apple's board just resigned. I'm sure his presence was one of the driving factors for having things like Google Maps on the iPhone, so I'm curious: what do you think will be the impact of his departure on the iPhone OS in particular? As Google Maps innovates, will iPhone not pick up features as quickly? Will Apple keep using Google Maps indefinately? Will Google stay the default search provider on Mobile Safari?

What do you think?
