I am a GoPhone user right now on the Pick Your Plan option. I would really like the iPhone but do not want a 2 year contract, is it possible only to add data for 20 or will i have to sign a new contract?

that is exactly how its working now... you just add the $20 to your existing plan and your set.

In the case of the iphone, the only way to get this option is to fail the credit check such that you'll be required to pay a deposit. They will run your credit and try to get you a 2 year plan before they will allow you to stay on the GoPhone program.

Yes, we're all aware you don't want a 2 year contract since you've posted about it dozens of times already. The iPhone requires a 2 year contract, deal with it.

To answer your other question, sure you can cut the line to try the demo model in the store.
