iPod goPod has messed up my iPod - anyone help?

I tried uncapping my ipod with goPod - its the new 20g colour one. It said it was successful and then i unplugged my iPod. It then showed the apple logo on a black screen - which it doesnt normally. Now it shows the 'OK to disconnect' text with text, below a title 'Disk mode' but it is in the old font - not the one normally used with this iPod.

Anyone no how to fix this?Cheers.

having tried to reset it, i get the folder with explanation point. i try to reset again and hear a sound like the hard drive is powering down (to me like its dying)
