Other Gorilla glass 6 on Xs and Xr

They talked about more durable and scratch resistant glass on the new phones but no specifics. Could this be Gorilla Glass 6 that has been rumored?

I'm curious how much better this will be than what's currently on the X. My glass scratches like crazy.

Scratch resistance and shatter resistance are opposed to each other.

Every year it's "The most advanced glass ever" but I'd like to see some improved scratch resistance myself.

“Durable” is one of those unspecific terms that sound good until you think about it. It’s pretty meaningless really.

Much improved scratch resistance would be a huge thing for me. Hopefully we'll know more soon.

they claimed this about the iPhone 8 glass and mine had 2 scratches within a couple weeks....

I've owned every iPhone since the original and never got a single scratch (I don't carry anything else in the same pocket, etc etc.)

I always had a screen protector on my X until one time I broke the screen protector and it went a week without one. In that week, somehow I got an almost inch long scratch that I can not only see but I can also feel it with my fingernail, it is deep! I never lay my watch face down and I never put it in a pocket with anything else. Absolutely no idea how that happened. I'm sure there will soon be numerous Youtube videos of people trying to scratch the screen of the Xs with various things
