just got 4 kingston 2gb rams today from my local computer store.
paid $1500 for it and its running good, $1500 cheaper than apple ram.

What programs do you run may I ask? I'm going to be doing some HD video editing in the near future and I was going to try and scrap by with four or five GB.

If your internet connection is good, you may want to consider joining the folding team. I would if i had a desktop mac, but my G4 iMac died recently. I'm lusting after a 24"er, but money is always a problem...

i m using aperture for my photos not to good with video yet.
