Got a 3.0!!!!

Hi guys! I finally got my 3.0! (I'm getting it very soon) It is still locked to fido though!

I don't know if it is the 3.0 or the 3.01 though.

Please, I know I'm suppose to go thru all the pages and etc.. but I don't want to make any mistake...

I need to UNLOCK it and JAILBREAK it!

Plz, can someone post me a very brief protocol to follow. What programs to use etc!

If your using a Mac, use redsnow to jailbreak it. I don't kn what to do to unlock it.

Yes. JUST DO NOT HIT UPDATE IN ITUNES. PERIOD.

Use redsnow to jailbreak firmware 3.0 firmware on your computer. Then there are multiple ways to unlock it.

Definitely Ultrasnow. Whether from phone or not, its a matter of choice

Guys it is stucked in DFU MODE

While I was trying to jb it it was written Waiting for the phone to boot and nothing happened.. now it is stuck in DFU F**** mode..
what to do?

its the 3.0.1 btw

You sure its DFU mode? Nothing but a black screen? Have you tried rebooting? Just hold the power and home buttons together for 10 secs and then let both go.

If you're stuck in recovery mode you may need to use irecovery - only way I could get out of it a few days ago without totally restoring in itunes.

its not in DFU mode finally!

but everytime I do this, it gets stuck in Waiting to reboot?@!

You then jailbroke it using redsn0w, and the firmware you chose to use was def firmware 3.0? You browsed for the firmware within redsn0w and physically chose it?

Then redsn0w went through all its stages and you got stuck at the waiting to reboot screen.

Can you boot it up at all normally?

just done it with vista. mac sometimes disappoint me

Good..... if it ever gets stuck at waiting for reboot then, you have to unplug the usb cable and plug it back in pretty quickly. That will force the phone to reboot and continue jailbreaking!!!

Next time search google!!! If you did you would of found that out hah.

Also, if you want some nice little goodies and stuff (software wise) for your iphone, then PM me and Ill get yaa some nice things to make your iphone perfect!!
