I've Had every single iPhone and lots of android phones but i've showed more love towards the iPhone's. It's simplicity is amazing, email app is great better than android in my opinion. I had a Galaxy S3 but after good use, i decided to buy an iPhone 5. Loved it, taller screen and LTE( Which as late) but it's OK. My brother really wanted an iPhone 5 for his Bday and i couldn't afford one, so with the little money i had i bought an iPhone 4 and gave him my iPhone 5. Then yesterday i traded my iPhone 4 + 100 for a galaxy note 2. I know its an extremely good deal, wether your IOS or android, its still a good deal as you can make profit selling the note. I originally planned to just sell the note 2 and buy an iPhone 4S, but NO. Im not selling, this is by far the best android phone i've ever tried. With Jelly Bean 4.1, and its quad-core chip. This thing is fast. What i've always hated about android was the fact that it was never fluid, it would have some lag no matter what phone before jelly bean. But man on the Note 2 its so amazing. Gotta give Samsung two thumps up on this phone, way better than my S3, i know the phone is huge but idk it's amazing. Reason why i keep switching to android is because for me the iphone is getting boring, so i like to switch back and forth with phones so that i dont get too bored, but Android has never failed me as more features are being put in. iOS has remained the same look with minimal changes since iPhone in 2007. I'm willing to give Apple another try with the iPhone if iOS 7 is a huge improvement, if only little features on it, I'm going to sell my note 2 and buy an S4 and then Note3 and so on. Just wanted to share guys :)
P.S i love both operating systems, i dont thing one is worst than the other. There's no winner in my opinion, and at the end it all comes down to personal preferences. But im getting bored of iOS. Still love my iPad so hey why not have the best of both worlds :)

Samsung's S4 will include a new feature called .... S-format. This will automatically format walls of text into paragraphs. :p

I'll be honest, the note 2 was really the first phone that I used for more than just basic tasks...texting, calls, quick web looks ups. I actually used it like a tablet, and never pulled out my ipad when I had one.

a better place
Nice phone indeed, though just fraction too big for me to use as my daily device phone wise for making calls, but for everything else its really nice. Will be interesting to see what the Note 3 brings to the table other than just a slightly bigger screen and 1080p (with same innards from S4).

If you want an email app, looking similar to the iPhone, have a look at "Inomail" in the Playstore.

I'm seriously considering picking up a Note 2 on eBay and selling my iPhone 5!

The price has dropped a lot and like the OP says, it is quick enough.

I did a trade on Craigslist for a note 2 trading my iPhone 5. I put it up the same same day and had multiple hits and ended up trading the same day.

It seems the iphone is in higher demand than the note 2

It is not that it is higher in demand, the iphone just cost more. A new iphone unlocked is $650 and new note 2 unlocked I can buy from ATT's site for $550. I would say it is semi fair, but you actually gave someone a deal.

Weird because its 700 on Verizon and 300 with 2 tear contract. So that the note 2 cost more af least on Verizon.
It has a higher demand because it's an apple product. People would buy anything with an apple logo.

It is very weird. It is only $550 online and they do not match the price in store. It is brand new and not a refurb. Makes zero sense to me.

They sandbox the two divisions. Corporate stores and online are pretty much two separate businesses.

That was awesome of you!

I too have a Note 2 and love it. Three months now and it is not wearing off.

I'm in the same boat. I semi-impulsively bought a Note 2 a couple of weeks ago (used), thinking I'd give it a try and then sell it when the S4 was readily available. I already have the S3 and I'd planned on keeping it until I got the S4 and was satisfied with it and then sell the S3.

Now I'm thinking I might keep the Note 2, sell the S3, and maybe even skip the S4 (although I'll probably still get the S4, eventually).

It's a GREAT phone. The size is a little much and can be awkward, but it's completely replaced my Nexus 7 when I'm at home at night. I just use my Note 2 to browse forums and the web.

I will say this. I wouldn't want a phone any bigger than this. It fits in my pocket just fine, but it can be a pain to hold sometimes. But overall, it's an amazing phone.

Note 2 was $650 online at att up until recently.

Att just dropped the price to $550 no contract.

It's 6 months old now. Att probably trying to move inventory.

$550 is excellent price for no contract note 2 on att. I have both att and verizon.

Got an htc 8x like new on verizon for $240 on eBay last week. Had a hard time using it on att with no mms. Verizon makes it hard to change the APN to make the verizon 8x work to get mms on other carriers. So I listed it on Craigslist for $270.

Than out of blue. Someone offered me even trade for verizon note 2 which was in 9.9 condition. I got a good swap.

He said he wanted smaller phone and wanted wireless charging. The verizon note 2 doesn't officially support wireless charging.

I should update what I've done since then...LOL.

I ended up selling the Note 2 (while I loved it, I just couldn't get past the size for everyday use). I still have my S3, but I picked up an Optimus G for a sweet deal and I've been really happy with it for the past week or so. It's enough to hold me over for a bit and hold out for the 32gb S4.

I'm still debating burning an upgrade on the S4, though. I keep going back and forth between yes and no, although I'll probably do it. We've got 3 lines out of 4 that are upgrade eligible, so I may use mine to get the S4 then see what the next iPhone has in store later this year.

There are so many great phones out there now that it's hard to decide sometimes!
