So my school's computer store has some great "early" back-to-school deals on Mac. This one deal seems awfully good to me and I am very close to taking it and I just wanted to hear everyone else's opinions on it. Whether it's good or bad; whether they would take it; and others.

Here's the deal...

13" Macbook White - $1,424
2.0 intel core duo
1gb ram
100gb sata
superdrive,isight, etc...

Plus, if I buy any ipod with it, I get a $179 dollar mail-in rebate.

Plus, if I buy AppleCare with it ($183 at my school), I get instant $100 and "receive FREE InCase Carrier and 50% off Apple MagSafe AC Adapter*" (what's incase carrier? / doesn't macbook come with magsafe already? need help).

So what I want to do...

I want to get the Macbook for $1,424, then since I don't have an ipod, get a 30gb video ipod ($269), then get the apple care system.

so basically (w/o tax), I would spend total of $1,597.

Is it worth it? would you take it?

Thanks for the read and help.
