So after playing with a Time Capsule and realizing how crappy it was, I returned it and got myself a Mac Mini instead to avoid the restocking fee (plus I wanted a Mini anyways)
So I looked online at all the sites to upgrade my RAM, but I made a big mistake was I used a knife (oppose to the putty knife which I couldn't find at the time) and I made a few visible scratches to the bottom of the unit where one cracks it open to upgrade parts.
Now my question is how lenient will Apple be if I need repairs and they see the damage on the bottom? Also I did replace the thermal paste on the CPU and the Northbridge; will they care about that?
Finally is it normal for the CPU to go up to 85 Centigrade before the fan kicks into high gear?
Thanks
