iPhone Got IMEI Unlock Do I still Need T-Mobile SIM for MMS Hotswap?

Hey guys,

I got my iPhone 5 IMEI Unlocked by http://www.swiftunlocks.com/ worked brilliantly!

Still waiting on my Straight Talk AT&T SIM for the iPhone (should be here Tue) so my question at this point is...


Is it necessary to do the T-Mobile SIM Hot swap to get all of the APN Settings configured if the iPhone Has been IMEI Unlocked?

Yes, or you can buy TetherMe for $5 to open the Cellular Data Network panel
I much prefer having TetherMe installed.
But hang on to the T-Mobile sim if you find yourself unjailbroken somewhere down the road.
